Be sure to come out and support our athletes competing in Finals this evening. This will be the last meet of the season for Frosh/Soph competitors. Varsity athletes who qualify will move on to Southern Section Division 2 Prelims! Good luck, Mustangs! Spectators — remember to bring cash. It’s $7 to get in — $5 for students with ID. Field events begin at 5; running events begin at 6.

In case your athlete didn’t share the Banquet Invitation with you (we handed it to them on Monday)–or if it’s already buried in a pile of paperwork — never fear — the PDF is HERE. We have purposely kept the cost of the banquet low this year (supplementing it with Booster Funds) so that more families can attend, so we hope you can make it! Please also know that in cases of financial hardship, we can help make sure an athlete gets to attend. Please have your son or daughter share this confidentially with their coach. Conversely, if you are in a position to help out financially, please indicated that on your payment sheet. Track & Field is a family, and that’s what families do for each other, right?
Donate: It’s not too late!
We happily & appreciatively accepted a donation from a Track & Field family this very week — and that reminded us — it’s NEVER too late to send in a donation to this fine program. As you may recall, at the parent meeting in February we asked for a donation of $50 or more from those who could afford it. If you weren’t there, didn’t know, or have forgotten, we encourage you to support the program with a donation. You can even mail it in with your Banquet Payment! Or send it payable to MBAF w/Track & Field in the memo line, to Track Boosters, 17 Westport, MB CA 90266.
Next Year Volunteer!
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, T&F-loving folks to join us on the Booster Committee. If you’ve been thinking there’s something you’d like to do, let us know. Just reply to this email and we’ll see how we can plug you in! There are jobs that can be done from home or office (like merchandise fulfillment, soliciting donations from Business Sponsors) and others that require availability in the afternoons (like Snack Stand Co-chair & Lead Photographer). If you’d like to help lighten the load next year (we’ll probably have 8 home meets — we only had 5 this year) we would love to hear from you!
That’s it from Booster Central. We’ll see you at the Track!
