Annual Mustang Relays – A great day!

18th Annual Mustang Relays – A great day!
The morning mist didn’t do anything to dampen the spirits of our athletes, coaches and volunteers as we hosted a successful Mustang Relays for the 18th year in a row. The sun showed up just in time to give the Shaved Ice vendor a noon-time boost in sales! Thank you for the incredible volunteer effort – we had alumni, parents, grandparents, former coaches and teachers, and plain old friends of the program pitch in to help. Several parents came out to work a shift (or more) even though their athlete was not competing (which is actually easier since you don’t have to worry about missing a performance!) Truly, we had excellence on and off the field! Several Mustang athletes had elite performances and grabbed many of the medals for the day. There are plenty of meets that get more press, but none executed with more heartfelt positive attitude and love for the sport than ours. Thank you for being a part of it. For those of you who missed it due to previous spring break plans, hopefully next year you can see what it’s all about! Here are some links to relive the fun:

We’ll start a gallery of the pix – similar to the Beach Reporter’s feature, only it’ll be all T&F all the time! Send pix to (we’ll be sure to post them after you return, for privacy’s sake!)
